This portion of the West Branch Baraboo River was listed for phosphorus, sediment, and oxygen in 1998.
Every two years between 2014 and 2018 phosphorus evaluation showed continued impairment. In 2020 bug community health indicated a possible impact on health. Further monitoring of bug community health is recommended.
