DRUID LAKE INLAND P & R DISTRICT: RES-Purple Loostrife Cleanup & Construct Spawning Beds - Druid Lake

Purpose

A continuation project with the efforts of Druid Lake P&R District and Hartford Union High School. These groups are doing the removal of purple loostrife by cutting, use of beetles, and planting native vegetation. Opening outlets and making a spawning bed should restore large mouth bass population. Presentation will be done at the WAL's conference in May 2002 in Oshkosh. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report.
