SILVER LAKE SANITARY DISTRICT: Silver Lake Water Quality and Sedimentation Study

Purpose

The Department is requiring monitoring and water chemistry samples at the discharge point where water is being pumped into lower water levels of Silver Lake. Alpine Lake, downstream, has concerns and the data will indicate sediment delivery. The otheraspect is a tropic state determination for Silver Lake over two year period. Infromation will be disseminated to the public by newletter, local newspaper articles and public hearings. Project results will be reposited at Union State Bank, M & I MidstateWautoma, WI, 54982.
