VILLAGE OF RANDOM LAKE: Random Lake Plant and Water Quality Analysis

Purpose

The Village of Random Lake will be doing the following study on Random Lake; collection of aquatic plant macrophyte data and water quality data in conjunction with a sonar treatment. Water quality data to be collected: Total phosphorus, total kjeldahl nitrogen, nitrate plus nitrite-N, chlorophyll a. Samples to be taken 6 times a year for three years and sent to SLOH for testing. Aquatic plant monitoring will also be a project deliverable. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant application.
