CITY OF STEVENS POINT: McDill Pond Comprehensive Lake Management Plan

Purpose

The City of Stevens Point proposes to complete a comprehensive lake management plan for McDill Pond. Project activities include 1) define the relationship between aquatic plant growth and sediment characteristics, 2) prepare a data summary of continued self-help water quality monitoring, and, 3) complete writing the comprehensive lake management plan. A final report will be prepared discussing project results. A paper copy and an electronic copy of the report will be provided to the Department of Natural Resources. Information about the project activities and results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter mailing, public meeting, and local newspaper article.
