BEAR LAKE ASSOCIATION OF BARRON: Bear Lake USGS Water Quality Monitoring, Lake Mgmt Planning

Purpose

USGS will conduct water quality monitoring. Lake district volunteers to record lake levels and precipitation and take secchi disk readings.Conduct a macrophyte survey. Delineate watershed boundaries on topographical map. Delineate problem and sensitive areas. Make management recommendations for problem areas.Conduct public opinion survey of lake property owners. Disseminate project information to the public by public meetings, local newpaper articles, newsletter mailings, and radio spots.
