The City of Eau Claire, working with the Friends of Half Moon Lake, proposes to develop and distribute information promoting understanding of Half Moon Lakes history and ecology, and to promote partnerships and effective stewardship by lake users and other stakeholders. Specific objectives include: 1) historical signage and brochures, 2) enhancement of existing lake monitoring programs, 3) increased communication with watershed residents through mailings, informational meetings and special events.
