POST LAKES P & R DISTRICT: Lower Post Lake Septic Systems Evaluation - Phase 2

Purpose

The Post Lakes Protection and Rehabilitation District proposes to continue the inspection of septic systems around Lower Post Lake to determine compliance with code and report failures. A minimum of 103 septic systems will be inspected and reported to the county. A final report of the inspection results that indicates soil conditions, system elevation, visual observation descriptions, and opinion of code compliance status for each system inspected. A paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report will be provided to the Department of Natural Resources. Information on the project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter mailing, entire report mailing, public meeting, summary report mailing, and local newspaper article.
