LAKE SINNISSIPPI ASSOCIATION: Lake Sinissippi Lake Management Planning

Purpose

Conduct a fish population survey. Estimate the impact of rough fish on the fishery and water quality. Determine the feasibility of rough fish control. Conduct a survey of aquatic plants in the lake. Conduct a waterfowl lake use survey. Conduct asurvey of lake users and residents. Information will be disseminated to the public by newsletter, local newspaper articles, public meetings, video, TV and/or radio spots and report mailings. Project results will be reposited at WIDNR files in Horicon.

As part of the Wisconsin lakes planning grant program for the Lake Sinissippi Association, Inc., William Poole, an independent consultant, surveyed waterfowl and wildlife and their associated habitat on and adjacent to Lake Sinissippi in Dodge County, Wisconsin.
