Project activities include an assessment of groundwater quality using 100 private wells around the lake and an assessment of groundwater quality in relation to septic system evaluations of Phase I of the study. Project activities will result in a report on ground water status and the impacts of septic systems on groundwater quality. A paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report will be provided to the Department of Natural Resources. Information on the project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter, factsheet distribution, entire report and summary report mailing, public meeting, local newspaper article, and TV/Radio spot.
