TAINTER/MENOMIN LAKE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION: Red Cedar Basin Organization Development

Purpose

The Tainter- Menomin Lake Improvement Association proposes to help develop the Red Cedar River Basin Partnership, Inc. in efforts to promote group formation, education, and strategic planning for the Red Cedar River Basin. Project activities include: 1) Promoting organizational development activities, 2) develop a phosphorus managment strategy for the Red Cedar Basin, 3) Inform and educate county and other local units of government on the Red Cedar River Basin, and 4) develop a network among lake and river groups. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Project results will be desseminated to the public through a local newsletter, brochures and activities.
