TAINTER/MENOMIN LAKE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION: Tainter Mapping-Sedimentation Study

Purpose

The Tainter/Menomin Lake Improvement Association, in cooperation with the Dunn County Land Conservation Dept. and the UW-Eau Claire Geography Dept., proposes to study to causes and effects of sedimentation on the upper end of Tainter Lake. Major project elements to include: 1) Streambank erosion inventory, 2) stabalization priority determination, 3) cropland soil loss analysis, 4) lake mapping, 5) dredging analysis, 6) public visioning meeting. Project results to be shared with the public via the visioning meeting. (Std. report approval, formats for Dept. info)
