Purpose

To cost-share installation of practices designed to assist livestock producers in achieving compliance with Wisconsin's agriculatural performance standards.

Outcome

Grant enlisted 12 farmers to remedy existing runoff problems. Constructed practices included: 1. barnyard control system which reduced Phosphorus from 22.7 to 3.3 pounds. 178 feet of stream crossings \ 745 feet of stream reip rap 260 feet of streambank shaping 2029 feet of streambank fencing.
