CHIPPEWA COUNTY LAND CONSERVATION DEPT: Paint Creek Riparian Buffers

Purpose

To cost-share establishment of riparian buffers and installation of streambank protection practices for prevention of unlimited livestock access to waters of the state.

Objective

Combine federal, state and local funding to permanently protect the entire stream corridon (50 acres) within the headwater property of Brian Phillips.

Outcome

All objectives were met, per Dan Masterpole, Chippewa Cnty. Conservationist.
