LITTLE CEDAR LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Little Cedar E. Coli Monitoring 2016

Purpose

The Little Cedar Lake P&R District is sponsoring a project to study the levels of e-coli at 9 sites throughout the lake. The study will be conducted in June \2013 August 2016. Project final deliverables include: an excel spreadsheet containing all the results from the sampling; a brief report detailing the sampling effort by the District, and copies of meeting agenda(s) to discuss the results by the LCLPRD. Specific project activities include: 1) Collection of e-coli samples at 9 sites; 2) Sampling will occur 2 times a month in June and July and 3 times a month in August; 3) A total of 63 samples will be taken; 4) All SLOH results will be entered into an excel spreadsheet; 5) the resulting excel spreadsheet will be posted on the LCLPRD website; and 6) results will be discussed at a LCLPRD board meeting and the annual meeting. Special Conditions: 1) All data shall be entered into the SWIMS database. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist. If consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
