Purpose

Twin Lakes is on the 303(d) list and is a shallow groundwater flow through lake, which will eventually require a TMDL. No comprehensive water chemistry data has been collected on the lakes in over 10 years. This project is being designed as a one year project (Jan 08 -Dec 08).

Objective

This project as a first step in beginning to understand the impacts of groundwater on the hydrology and nutrient budget of Twin Lakes.
