BIG ROCHE-A-CRI LAKE DISTRICT: BRC Lake Aquatic Plant Study & Data Gap Analysis

Purpose

This project aims to conduct an aquatic plant survey and data analysis. Project activities include: \2022 Aquatic plant survey \2022 Data gap analysis Project deliverables: All data collected, all outreach and event materials, agendas and minutes from meetings. Specifically: \2022 Aquatic plant report \2022 Summary of data gaps Special conditions: WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of all data and maps from the project. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lakes Coordinator.

This memorandum summarizes an analysis that Barr performed to identify data gaps that must be filled prior to beginning a 9 Key Elements Plan and/or other future lake management planning efforts for Big Roche-A-Cri Lake.
1 In 2019, the Big Roche A Cri Lake District completed aquatic plant surveys of Big Roche A Cri during late May and late July to assess the distribution and growth density of plants in the lake. This document summarizes the results of the aquatic plant surveys.
