TREMPEALEAU COUNTY: Ketchum Farm

Purpose

To cost-share landowner installation of best management practices designed to enable farm operations to comply with the agricultural performance standards and prohibitions established by the County's Feedlot Performance Ordinance and in Subchapter II of NR 151 by installing runoff management systems which will enable the Ketchum Farm to meet nutrient application restrictions and eliminate unconfined manure piles in water quality management areas, prevent direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state, and restrict unlimited livestock access to waters of the state.
