DOOR COUNTY: Dunes Lake Watershed Study Ph 2

Purpose

Door County Soil & Water Conservation Department proposes to conduct monitoring on Dunes Lake and its watershed to better understand the watershed contributions to Dunes Lake. The monitoring results will used to educate and inform the public about the lake and effects of land use practices on water quality. Data collected from this effort will be used to develop a management plan and implementation strategy for the Dunes Lake watershed. The project elements and deliverables will be completed as described in the project proposal submitted to the Department and dated July 31, 2008.
