LAKE BEULAH MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Lake Beulah Trophic State Assessment

Purpose

The Lake Beulah Management District will utilize volunteers to collect samples for TSI monitoring. This grant is directly linked to a large scale grant (LPL-1255-09). The project deliverable will be a report containing the following elements: 1) Results of sampling conducted at five sampling stations (2 deep holes), during five times per year. The samples taken will be for chlorophyll a and total phosphorus, using the USGS protocol. Results will be sent to the CLMN database. Samples will be analyzed by the State Lab of Hygiene. 2) Results from two years of sampling as described above will be in the report.
