TRI-LAKES MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Tri-Lakes-14-Mile Watershed Water Quality Sampling

Purpose

The Tri-Lakes Management District is sponsoring a monitoring project to assess baseline water quality and the efficacy of BMP implementation in conjunction with the 9-Key Element plan and monitoring in-lake water quality and E. coli monitoring of Tri-Lakes. Project final deliverables include: all data collected, agendas and minutes for planning meetings, consistent with the 9-Key Element Plan that includes methodologies, results, and management alternatives discussion with an implementation element. Specific project activities include: 1) In-Lake water quality & clarity monitoring; 2) tributary monitoring; 3) E. coli monitoring in lakes; 4) consultation with Adams County LWCD, DATCP and DNR for BMP implementation and monitoring the effects of BMP\2019s; 5) ) consultation with Adams County LWCD, DATCP and DNR for verification of STEPL and SNAP+ model results. Special Conditions: 1) All data will be entered into SWIMS Database; 2) All data collection will be done with Department approved protocols; 3) All data to be made available to partner agencies. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist. If consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
