Proposed NER Citizen Based Monitoring

Purpose

Provide direction and resource allocation for regional activities that support the CBSM Program. Funds allocated will allow for integration of Water Quality Biologists participation in the CBSM Program.

Objective

Support citizen groups participating in Level 2 stream monitoring. Pay for lab analyses, equipment needs and special projects.

Outcome

Successful obtainment of important data / information for selected area streams. This data will augment our knowledge of area streams that Water Quality Biologists alone would not have been able to obtain due to lack of time and financial resources.
