TOWN OF THREE LAKES: Burnt Rollways Dam & Eagle River Eurasian Watermilfoil Rapid Response Project

Purpose

The Town of Three Lakes is sponsoring an AIRR grant to be completed by June 30, 2010. The project will focus on surveying, mapping and managing (chemical treatements and hand-pulling) all of the Eurasian Watermilfoil located in the Eagle River between Long Lake (Three Lakes Chain) and Cranberry Lake (Eagle River Chain). Project activities include: 1) Pre-treatment survey and mapping conducted a week or less prior to management; 2) manage EWM; 3) Post-treatment survey between mid-July and mid-August. Project deliverables include; 1) Final report describing the findings of the pre and post treatment surveys, GPS locations, and guidance for continued control actions. Specific conditions: Final report needs Dept. review and approval. WDNR Lakes Management Coofdinator will be provided with an electronic (pdfor word) and hard copy of the final report.
