Purpose

To cost-share installation of manure storage systems and barnyard runoff practices which will address the Agricultural Performance Standards and prohibitions under Subchapter II of NR 151 dealing with manure storage facilities, nutrient management, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.

Outcome

Revised BMPs were installed but will achieve the necessary protection of State waters.
