Purpose
To cost-share landowner installation of best management practices to prevent winter spread of liquid manure and barnyard runoff for protection of Maple Creek and groundwater and to address the Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions under Subchapter II of NR 151 relating to manure storage facilities and nutrient management.Outcome
Landowner supplied additional funds to supplement purchase of "Slurrystore" in lieu of open manure storage lagoon, to overcome neighborhood's objections to odors.Related Reports
