Purpose

To cost-share landowner installation of barnyard/feedlot runoff control systems to reduce contaminated discharges of sediment and nutrients from the Theresa C. Haines livestock operation into Lake Marinuka and to achieve full compliance with the County's Livestock Facilities Ordinance and with the state Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions contained within Subchapter II of NR 151 relating to erosion, clean water diversions, nutrient management, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or manure storage into waters of the state on all lands owned and operated.
