TREMPEALEAU COUNTY: Andy Dejno Livestock Runoff Project

Purpose

To cost-share landowner installation of barnyard/feedlot runoff control systems to reduce contaminated discharges of sediment and nutrients from the Andy Dejno livestock operation into Elk Creek and to achieve full compliance with the County's Livestock Facilities Ordinance and with the state Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions contained within Subchapter II of NR 151 relating to erosion and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or manure storage into waters of the state on all lands owned and operated.
