Purpose

Provide financial incentive to riparian landowers for the installation of buffer strips.

Objective

To improve participation in the CREP buffer program.

Outcome

These buffer strips will improve Lake Michigan anadromous fisheries habitat and water quality by reducing erosion and pollutants entering the streams.
