ADAMS COUNTY: LCO-Adams Ordinance Imple. Assistance

Purpose

The Adams County Land and Water Conservation Department proposes to facilitate revision of the county's Shoreland Protection Ordinance and to train a LWCD staff person to work with shoreland property owners to establish shoreland buffers and other practices necessary to comply with the new shoreland ordinance. Major project elements to include: 1) Staff training, 2) Outreach and counsulting to shoreland property owners, 3) Development of shoreline restoration plans and agreements, 4) Installation oversight, and 5) Update of the county's Riparian Buffer GIS layer to track practice installation.
