Results will be used to assess changes in water quality, clarity, depth, aquatic plant community and the overall health of the waterbody. Project final deliverables include: A report will compile collected data and provide comparison to historic results. Conclusions will be made to provide comparison to water quality, bathymetry, and aquatic plant community pre and post-drawdown, as well as provide preliminary recommendations for future management decisions. Specific project activities include: 1) determination of current water quality conditions through analysis of water chemistry and analysis of physical parameters; 2) survey of bathymetric features to develop an understanding of water depth and accumulated sediment on the lakebed; 3) survey and inventory of aquatic plants to establish species present and size of populations; 4) compilation of data into a final report and dissemination of the data through outreach. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
