Egg Harbor Beach and Boat Trailer Parking Lot Improvements

Purpose

The Village is proposing to repave an 18’ wide strip of pavement (the drive aisle) with a pervious strip that will reduce the volume of runoff leaving the parking lot. The Village would also make improvements to divert a greater portion of the runoff from the parking lot to the existing biofilter.

Objective

The Village desires to expand upon a beach improvement project by installing a biofilter / infiltration basin, replacing impervious surfaces with pervious pavement, redirecting parking lot runoff, and restoring disturbed areas with native vegetation intended to discourage waterfowl. The Village also desires to complete the development of their event and boat trailer overflow parking lot by installing a biofilter to reduce the loading of sediments and pollutants to Green Bay.
