FRIENDS OF HUNT HILL AUDUBON SANCTUARY INC: Youth Ecology Stewarship Project - Phase II

Purpose

Friends of Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary is sponsoring a youth education project in partnership with Washburn County Lakes and Rivers Association and Long Lake Preservation Association. The primary purpose is to bus the schools of Washburn County and other school districts that overlap into Washburn County to the sanctuary to teach them about water resources stewardship. The Hunt Hill grant will be used for fieldtrip expenses and promotional materials. Specific deliverables for this project include a summary report including evaluation results and examples of educational tools, publications, and/or presentations developed. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator.
