The project elements and deliverables are specified in the Sandstone Flowage Aquatic Invasive Species Control Grant application dated July 25,2011. The project includes conducting annual pre and post-treatment surveys in accordance with DNR established protocal, to monitor the extent of EWM and efficacy of the previous year's treatment; treating EWM infested areas with aquatic herbicides; and conducting education and prevention activities to prevent further AIS infestation, conducting watercreft inspections and distributiing AIS literature. Watercraft inspection records will be entered into the State's online SWIMS database. A final report summarizing the 1-year project will be provided to DNR.
