COLUMBIA COUNTY: Lazy Lake APM Plan Update & Water Chem Load Analysis

Purpose

Columbia County LWCD will complete an aquatic plant inventory on Lazy Lake, which will include a spring survey for curlyleaf pondweed, and a summer survey to capture the other species. They will update the existing plant management plan by following DNR guidance and getting public input. They will also analyze water chemistry loading data from the watershed. They will work with UW Stevens Point to develop an in-lake phosphorus concentration model and a watershed phosphorus budget. The final report and all raw data will be provided to DNR and posted on the LWCD web page.
