GOLDEN SANDS RC&D: Regional AIS Spec. 6

Purpose

Golden Sands RC&D proposes to continue funding for an Aquatic Invasive Species specialis serving Portage, Wood and Marathon counties. Major project elements to include: 1) Coordination of outreach, training, citizen monitoring, Clean Boats Clean Waters, and active AIS control activites on publicly accessible lakes within the counties, 2) Updates to waterway access inventories in each county, 3) Administration and staffing of grant eligible project elements.
