DOOR COUNTY: Logan Creek Groundwater Protection

Purpose

To cost-share installation of manure management systems in response to existing overflows of agricultural runoff containing nutrients, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms affecting Lost Lake and the Upper Door County Watershed and to address violations of the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to: manure storage facilities-new/significant alterations, Process wastewater handling, clean water diversions, prevention of unconfined manure piles in water quality management areas, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.
