KEWAUNEE COUNTY: Dax Manure Storage Systems

Purpose

To cost-share installation of manure managemen systems in response to existing overflows of agricultural runoff containing nutrients, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms affecting School Creek the Kewaunee River Watershed and to address violations of the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to: manure storage facilities-new/significant alterations, process wastewater handling, nutrient management, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.
