Flat Floater (Anodonta suborbiculata), a State Special Concern mussel, is strictly found in backwater areas with little or no current in large rivers of the western part of Wisconsin. The known hosts include a number of common fish species, such as shiners, catfish, sunfish, bass, and crappies.
