A supplemental site investigation was initiated during this reporting period. A work plan was submitted in late August and was approved by WDNR on September 12, 2016. Work completed in 2016 included 30 borings using Dakota Technologies TarGOST (laser induced fluorescence), 25 sediment borings, 11 sonic borings, four new well installations, and 18 geoprobe soil borings. Soil samples collected from these installations were analyzed for PAH and VOC, with metals added to the sediment sample analyses. Nine vapor points were installed during the field program. Groundwater monitoring, vapor sampling, and reporting will take place in 2017.
