On May 1, 2017, a piezometer (PZ-1) was drilled and installed next to MW-3 on the northeast corner of the property and an additional groundwater monitoring well (MW-4) and piezometer (PZ-2) were installed northeast of the property at Sam Roth Park. On May 18, 2017, the well and piezometers were developed and all of the wells at site were sampled. On May 22, 2017, 213 tons of impacted soil were removed from the former location of the dry cleaners building on the south side of the existing building on the site. Monitoring well MW-1 was abandoned during excavation activities. Monitoring well MW-1R will be installed in late August 2017 to replace MW-1 and all of the wells on the site will be sampled in September 2017.
