On March 1, 2017, a Site Investigation Work Plan was finalized and then submitted to the WDNR. The Work Plan was a follow up to the 2016 Initial Site Investigation Report. The Work Plan included recommendations for further VOC groundwater assessment via bedrock contact piezometers. On June 22, 2017 AECOM & WDNR discussed the Work Plan and the WDNR requested consideration of some additional vertical aquifer profiling in the suspected source area. As of July 2017, WDNR, AECOM, and the site owner are discussing the proposed additional SI scope in anticipation of proceeding with the SI tasks in summer/fall 2017.
