BNSF has continued to coordinate with WDNR regarding access needs for the WDNR restoration project at Pickle Pond, and closure of the BRRTS file related to the Pickle Pond project. Specific coordination activities conducted during this reporting period consisted of the following:
January 31, 2018: BNSF participated in a conference call with WDNR to discuss the draft Remedial and Habitat Design Services Scope of Work developed by WDNR as part of a Request for Qualifications for the pond restoration design, and comments provided by BNSF on December 21, 2017.
February 16, 2018: BNSF submitted Temporary Shoring Guidelines to WDNR, for use/consideration during the pond restoration design.
February 23, 2018: BNSF submitted a Technical Assistance, Environmental Liability Clarification or Post-Closure Modification Request (Form 4400-237) to WDNR, requesting to negotiate a contract with WDNR for access to BNSF property.
April 19, 2018: BNSF provided comments to WDNR on the March 27, 2018 revised Scope of Work and updated schedule on the contractor selection for the Pickle Pond design.
June 24, 2018: WDNR provided a draft Contract for access to BNSF property.
