During this time period, Superior Water, Light & Power (SWL&P), together with Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC (Foth), advanced the following efforts:
1) Refinements to the conceptual site model (CSM) have been completed, and a draft of the consolidated/revised Site Investigation Report (SIR) has been prepared; both are currently undergoing internal review.
2) SWL&P has met with an adjacent landowner to discuss the findings of the revised draft SIR, and additional feedback from the landowner is expected in early 2019.
3) SWL&P prepared and submitted formal comments to WDNR on the pending reissuance of WPDES Permit No. WI-0025593-09-0 for the City of Superior Sewage Disposal System, including concerns related to continued discharge into the boat slip tributary to Superior Bay. SWL&P is awaiting a response to those comments for additional consideration in understanding current and future conditions in the boat slip from a remedial planning perspective.
