During this time period, Superior Water, Light & Power (SWL&P), together with Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC (Foth) advanced the following efforts: (1) Discussed with DNR comments on the draft Pre-Design Investigation (PDI) Work Plan, which had been submitted on August 19, 2019; (2) Incorporated DNR comments and submitted the Final PDI Work Plan to DNR on February 7, 2020; (3) Received DNR comments on March 2, 2020 on the Final PDI Work Plan and responded with a Work Plan Clarification Letter on March 17, 2020; (4) Discussed with DNR the field schedule and the sediment sampling objectives and scope; (5) Received approval from DNR via email on April 2, 2020 to proceed with implementation of the PDI; (6) Rescheduled PDI fieldwork from Winter to Spring due to insufficient ice thickness to sample within the boat slip; (7) Completed a multi-beam and single-beam bathymetric survey of the boat slip in June 2020; (8) Completed sub-contractor and equipment procurement to implement the PDI in July 2020. SWL&P continues to engage with area stakeholders to secure access for sampling activities anticipated during the PDI. Foth will then update and submit the Remedial Actions Options Report (RAOR) on behalf of SWL&P.
