A semi-annual groundwater monitoring event was completed at the Express Cleaners property on April 9 and 10, 2020. Groundwater elevations were collected from ten monitoring wells and one piezometer. Groundwater samples were collected from seven monitoring wells and one piezometer for water quality parameters and volatile organic compounds. An annual groundwater monitoring report summarizing the sampling results from October 2018 and April 2019 was prepared during the reporting period and will be submitted to WDNR. Preparations are being made to contact WDNR regarding case closure and VPLE COC, which will be sought in the fall of 2020.
