The Hayton Area Remediation Project (HARP) is located in Calumet County, Wisconsin, and has been divided into four operable units (OUs). Significant source removal and restoration efforts have been completed in OU1 through OU4/Lower. OU1, OU2, OU3 and OU4/Upper has received No Further Action determinations. Approved remediation activities in OU4/Lower were completed in October 2020. Storm water and wastewater monitoring and reporting were completed in accordance with permit conditions. Wetland restoration maintenance and monitoring continued in OU4/Upper and OU4/Lower in Fall 2020. The OU4/Lower remediation and restoration photographs were submitted to WDNR on October 13, 2020. The Wetlands Impacts Update letter for OU4/Lower was submitted to USACE and WDNR on October 30, 2020. The 2020 Hayton Area Remediation Project â OU4 Upper Third Year Monitoring Report was submitted to USACE and WDNR on December 16, 2020.
