A groundwater remediation contractor has been selected. A contract with them is under negotiation/signing. Groundwater monitoring wells at each groundwater remedial area have been installed. An initial groundwater sample event has been conducted and the results of the sampling have been received and submitted to the WDNR.
A work plan describing the planned groundwater treatment injection detail and an injection permit request will be prepared as soon as the contract is completed. Active treatment would begin later in spring.
