The facility-wide site incorporates eligible petroleum release response activity at the Enbridge Superior Terminal using an ongoing hydrogeologic performance standard with continuing obligations (CO). The facility-wide CO package was updated with additional site information in early 2021.
Semi-annual groundwater monitoring is part of the hydrogeologic performance standard CO. The 2020 semi-annual groundwater monitoring report was completed in January 2021.
In March 2021, the WDNR approved Enbridge's request to switch from semi-annual to annual groundwater monitoring.
The 2021 annual groundwater monitoring event was completed in May 2021.
