At WDNR's request, a PFAS groundwater sampling work plan was prepared and submitted on February 24, 2022. The PFAS sampling plan was approved by the WDNR on March 10, 2022. A Semi-Annual Progress Report (July 1-December 31, 2022) was submitted on March 16, 2022. On April 13, 2022 the WDNR was advised of Marquette's plans to postpone implementation of the PFAS sampling plan. A routine semi-annual groundwater sampling event was completed in April 2022 with the results being provided to the WDNR via e-mail on May 11, 2022. An extension request for the temporary injection permit was resubmitted to the WDNR on May 23, 2022 and approved on June 9, 2022. On June 22, 2022, WDNR was notified of a supplemental injection event planned for July 2022.
