The Munger Landing Great Lakes Legacy Act project has been awarded to a contractor by Great Lakes National Program Office with site preparation projected to begin in July 2022. Excavation/Dredging is scheduled to begin in August 2022 and run through November 2023. The project will remediate impacted sediments within the Munger Landing stretch of the St. Louis River. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), and Paramount Global are collaborating as non-federal sponsors of the project. Paramount Global anticipates filing a BRTTS closure request to the WDNR upon completion of remedial activities
